Symbio-Link - An Artist Residency Project

The project seeks to uncover the latent qualities in our common day to day objects, straying away from their preconceived notions and integrating them into a broader narrative. Stemming from a basic concept derived from the connection of two components, a series of experiments culminate in the design of an artist residency. It takes forward the idea of a simple host-parasite relationship to an architectural scale where functionality becomes priority. This residency employs volumetric and solid elements, serving both practical and representational purposes, thereby aligning with the initial concept and evolving alongside the space's intended function.
