The site for the 'United Dreamscapes' residential project is in Chandkheda, Ahmedabad. The proposal explores the understanding and inversion of served and servant spaces at the mass housing scale. This stems from the intention of dignifying the services, which is an indispensable part of architecture. The design majorly keeps in mind nuclear, outstate and service-oriented families migrating to Ahmedabad and thus focuses on equity, privacy and community.
The seminar presentation investigates the notions of 'stacking' in housing through StackAbout, a game designed to help conceptualize the stack and understand the housing rules and regulations.
