The center provides an entrepreneurial environment where fresh graduates and young designers gain access to resources, training, studio spaces, major outreach, and networking with the industry. It is geared towards small business development, innovation and application of fashion technology, and promotion of growth from within local economies.
The theme of Ornamentation is Expression of Modularity: Modularity refers to the opportunities of combinations and reconfigurations of the modules in order to create a system that suits the specific needs of the user and program. Here, it is explored in the context of form, scale, dimension, material, and function.
