The Chawk Baug metro station project revolves around seamlessly integrating natural landscapes, establishing a cohesive green link from the station to the Tapi river edge. Connecting to the nearby river, gardens, and green spaces, the design prioritizes a cohesive and nature-centric experience for users, promoting both physical and mental well-being. Inside the station, the integration of various natural elements bridges nearby green patches, creating a soothing environment. The station incorporates a passive cooling system, ensuring energy efficiency and sustainability. Along the Tapi river edge, a raised pathway on stilts preserves the natural riverbank, offering pedestrians and cyclists a scenic route. The surrounding area is transformed into a usable space, featuring botanical gardens, sports areas, and green spaces, seamlessly blending nature with functionality. This approach results in a metro station that not only serves as a transportation hub but also as a harmonious intersection of urban life and natural experience, enriching the overall community experience.
