The metro station is designed in the Chowk Bazaar area of Surat city. The location of the station is in a highly dense area of the walled city. It is surrounded by a lot of historical and institutional buildings such as the Old Fort, Andrews Library, J.J. College, and CNI church. The vision of the station is to create a seamless link between the context of the station and its infrastructure. It aims at developing new connections while strengthening the older ones and providing seamless access and uninterrupted movement.
