Green Screens

The heat mitigation retrofit strategy revolves around using vegetation as a shading strategy installed on the south and west-facing walls and roof. The green vegetation cover provides shade and the leaves release water through transpiration, making the air cooler.
The trellis system with ropes and rods ties into the fairly simple bamboo structure, which can be customized and adapted according to the particular climatic context. This not only adapts to the context and shades the house,  but also improves the aesthetics of the space and gives the owner a feeling of owning the space.
