The goal of this project is to make healthcare services more accessible and to reduce health disparities. The clinic is located in the urban poor community of Vatva, Ahmedabad, and it is designed with a light modular structure in mind. The clinic's modular design makes it easy to transport and assemble on-site, and it also allows the clinic to be expanded as the community's needs grow. The design of the clinic is also patient-centered, and the modular structure allows the clinic to be easily adapted to meet the changing needs of the community. The clinic will be used by ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) workers who visit the community to provide health education and awareness. The clinic will also be used by a medical officer once or twice a week for regular check-ups. The clinic will be a secondary clinic to the nearby UPHC (Urban Primary Health Care) center, and specialists and ASHA volunteers will come to the clinic to provide care to the community. The design of the clinic was developed in collaboration with healthcare experts, community leaders, and stakeholders. The clinic is more than just a building; it is a symbol of the power of design to transform lives through access to quality healthcare.
