Kyudo : The Way of the Arrow

Deep within the vast mountains lies an exhibition space showcasing the talents of Japanese archery. Taking inspiration from the intricate beauty of this art, a slender wooden bow spread across the sky begs for release but is pulled back taught by thin cables of steel. The entire structure rests on only one heavy beam spanning end to end. A light fabric covers the space giving rise to a massive yet light and delicate feeling, much like wings in flight.
