AMPHITHEATRE ROOF DESIGN USING TIMBER

The course focuses on understanding various materials and how they can be used in actual design processes. The process of designing a structure was highlighted throughout the semester studio session. Studio activities included manual and software-based structure analysis to build mathematical abilities, as well as verification of calculation and software outcomes. This project involves creating a timber roofing system for the CFP Kund. The goal of this project is to comprehend the material to be utilized, the form finding and form development process, the development of the structural system, preliminary design and sizing of the elements and analysis, and preliminary detailing of the project's structural components.
