A play of volume and anthropometry creates this sculptural entity that ties together the technicality of water systems and the theatrics of architecture. This project is a Water tower which questions the usual heavy tall structure that is associated its name. With the innovation in technology a narrow delicate steel structure with the water tank below ground is designed which towers up above with the sole purpose of creating a quiet assortment of rooms for students. With a rainwater harvesting system and solar-paneled roofing it aims to be a self-sustainable intervention of modern mechanisms in a vernacularly inspired structure.
