The aim behind learning various printing and embroidery techniques throughout the semester was to use them to recreate textures of an existing space. Here, a semi-basement garden storage in a residential home has been converted into a working studio by adding furniture elements and accessories with personalised "Ajrakh" inspired prints on them. The said prints add to the colour palette as well as the appearance of the space by making it more vibrant. Three walls have been kept a neutral dull beige for the prints to be enhanced while one is a dull yellow to give a contrast to them.
