Mindful Markings

Performing an exploration on how the usage of prints can enhance the elements of a space, led to learning about various printing techniques, understanding their unique qualities along with the historical context and contemporary applications of each technique. The idea was to develop a print with a well-defined theme intending to blend artistic expression with interior design, creating a harmonious and visually stimulating environment through the use of these diverse printing and printmaking methods. On gaining firsthand experience in each printing technique, physical mock-ups were made showcasing how the prints will be incorporated into the designated space.
