Representation of textures is as important as understanding them. With this studio, I learnt various techniques to create prints pertaining to a theme, and ways to implement them in real life. A space can truly be transformed with use of textures in interior elements which will bring out the accent value in a room. Creating layers of textures in my work throughout the semester, I learnt how I can come up with ideas in a creative manner and how they can be set up in a space.  

Understanding the textures around us and making our own gallery.
Print curation taking inspiration from natural elements and man made objects.
Print curation taking inspiration from geometric forms and buildings.
Impressions made using simple rubber blocks, carved out with design of choice to explore the technique and the material, also with a tinge of embroidery.
Making actual wooden blocks in Jaipur for block printing. The design consisted of 3 wooden blocks which come together as a whole unit.
Creating beautiful indigo artwork with sunlight and chemicals, where opacity comes into play with the monochrome blue.
Curating a theme for a space using inspiration from Frank Llyod Wright's Falling Waters.
Making prints which are derived from the main design and making real scale 30cmx30cm prototypes.
Plans, sections and 3d renders to understand the print and space better and also to comprehend how the interior elements would look when viewed from certain angles.
