Swastha : Transforming urban living

This design studio specializes in the strategic master planning and architectural design of extensive greenfield developments or cleared brownfield projects, emphasizing the creation of vibrant and habitable communities. In response to the increasing need for urban expansion, governments facilitate such endeavors using diverse development mechanisms. This studio operates within the established framework of the Integrated Township Policy, typically driven by developers and involving the design of large, contiguous land parcels under single ownership. The chosen site for this township is a greenfield location on the western outskirts of Ahmedabad, adjacent to the upcoming science center and adjacent to the proposed special development zone . The primary objective is to develop adaptable master plans that foster sustainable, inclusive neighborhoods while being sensitive to ecological assets.
