The Mumbai Ahmedabad HSR is India's first transit mega project.  Surat HSR station is country's first green field station development. The Surat HSR station Area needs special micro-level planning to cater demand that will  be generated from HSR project by balancing economic growth and  ecological harmony to make the area ready for development and carving out space to assisting the functioning of HSR station for seamless integration with built environment.
