Nikol is a lively area in the eastern part of Ahmedabad, founded in 2008. It's a key spot that connects major industrial zones, Naroda GIDC and Odhav GIDC. Over time, Nikol has grown into one of Ahmedabad's most modern and diverse areas. It's filled with homes, businesses, shops, parks, and hospitals. Many people live here, showing how popular the place has become. It's also conveniently close to Ahmedabad International Airport, just 8 kilometres away. Plus, it sits near the main highways that connect Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, and Vadodara, making it an important location. This report is a guide for city planners, researchers, and anyone interested in city development. It dives deep into the features, history, and important details of a unique area, all gathered from satellite pictures. In particular, it closely examines Nikol Naroda, a peripheral locality in Ahmedabad's eastern fringes, with proximity to the vital Sardar Patel Ring Road. This major transportation artery not only encircles the city but also interlinks various suburbs, ensuring a seamless flow of traffic and offering an efficient city centre bypass. With its inception in 2008, Nikol has flourished as a critical connection between the prominent Naroda and Odhav GIDCs are becoming key areas in Ahmedabad. This report talks about the different building styles there and examines how land is used, considering things like how many people live there, building sizes, and other features that make the area unique.
