This portfolio takes a deep dive into how the Ghodasar area in Ahmedabad city has changed over time. Just like how a piece of fabric transforms, this portfolio explains how Ghodasar, which was once a separate village, became a part of Ahmedabad in 1986 due to the “AMC Act.” We’ll look at Ghodasar’s changes through different perspectives: town planning schemes, the impact of riots, and the ongoing development process. Despite all these changes, Ghodasar has managed to keep its special identity and importance.
