Isanpur- Narol went through a transformation from an industrial hub to a residential neighborhood, the streets and built form acts as evidence to this slow transition. The clear contrast between the western and the eastern areas in terms of the street network, built form and property prices further helps in understanding this transformation. Deindustrialization in the area has been noted to change the physical characteristics of the built form and the livelihood choices to a large extend .
