A redevelopment model for HSR area: Sabarmati Ahmedabad

 The studio aims to teach a mechanism for development of Local Area Plan through various planning approaches. We experienced the same for area around Sabarmati High speed Rail Station, Ahmedabad. Studio provides environment for us to think beyond the limits. Iteration vise learning process breaks the process of development plan making into 4 phases, existing situation analysis, 1st draft plan, infrastructural proposal and costing-phasing. Through this LAP Framework we could develop more understandings on how these plans are derived through existing situation analysis, potential demand of the site and any population growth drivers. Local Area Plans are incorporated in already developed areas to have additional infrastructures.
