History defines life. People form the most important element of Place making. The cultural values are expressed and manifested in the fabric through built form which is evolved over time. Danilimda is a settlement towards the southern part of AMC. The settlement is known for the prominence of Chandola Lake & Canal Garden. The Study focuses on people, place and pattern through its evolution & transformation which governs urban form. The essence of community living and social stratification is evident at Danilimda. The socio-cultural mix and socio-economic segregation strengthen work-home relationship culture making it a self-sustained residential neighbourhood here streets are not just a medium of commuting from one place to another but also a place to Celebrate, Socialize, and experience.
