Central Ghatlodia is almost an idealistic residential neighbourhood on the north-western fringe of Ahmedabad. The 1 square kilometer precinct is characterized by its dense low-rise built forms, streets that are well connected and act as the primary public spaces, land uses that accommodate a variety of built typologies, and a development timeline that speaks of its evolution from Gamtal to a popular residential neighbourhood.
