Ahmedabad is known to be one of most preferred living destinations resulting in growing immigration every year. This has led to an increase in urban sprawl, high cost of living, increased load on urban infrastructure, traffic congestion, etc. majorly in the core working areas of the city. The inclusion of the connected suburban areas under the city's periphery proved to be a great solution. Bopal is one of the many newly developed and rapidly expanding suburban communities on the outskirts of Ahmedabad. It is connected by S.P. ring road, located near to the Ahmedabad municipal limit on the western edge of the city and the BRTS corridor. This infrastructure proved to be of great benefit in this developmental scenario. The implementation of Transit Oriented Development (TOD) created an active and user-friendly market environment, resulting in overall growth of the suburbia making it the most demanding destination for migration.
