Regenerating Religious Rest-houses in Ahmedabad

A world heritage city was closely studied to understand its importance and work as a heritage city. In understanding the city and its importance through various documents, archives, and the city itself there was a strong narrative of trade that drives the city. However, in this narrative, the assets of religion-driven Rest-Houses placed in the socio-economic realm were not narrated or revealed. The institutes became islands in the city and the project aims to know their values to integrate them in the fabric again.
