Redesigning Bopal Junction

Intersections provide a risk because of the simultaneous competing motions of several people, including pedestrians and drivers. Understanding traffic patterns and related challenges in urban environments, especially at and near intersections, was the main goal of this studio. The studio analyses and designs an urban crossroads, specifically one in Ahmedabad, by concentrating on the physical aspects of the intersection, such as pavement defects and speed analysis. The intersection chosen for the project is the "Bopal Junction" intersection . The engineering elements of the intersection were understood, and suggestions were given.
