Redesigning Shastri Nagar Intersection

Gaining insight into the complex dynamics of traffic in urban settings, particularly and near crossings, was the primary objective of the studio. These locations are critical because numerous conflicting motions involving numerous autos and pedestrians occur at the same time. The studio concentrated on analyzing the concrete elements of crossroads, looking at elements like speed metering and pavement flaws. The primary goal was to do a thorough analysis of an urban crossroads and develop a design idea for it, with an emphasis on Ahmedabad. Shastri Nagar Crossroad was selected as the project's location. The studio made a commitment to studying every aspect of the engineering aspects of the intersection. As a result, several recommendations were created and made in order to improve the functionality, particularly with reference to geometric adjustments.
