The old city of Ahmedabad provides a rich context, with heritage architecture tucked away in the web of pols throughout the old city. Designing a house in Ahmedabad's pols requires striking a careful balance between tradition and modernity. Embracing the features of traditional pol houses like courtyards, elaborate facades, and communal spaces. The residence should seamlessly integrate with the context, respecting the scale and aesthetic of itInterior design should be seen as a dynamic space that fosters connectivity with the surrounding environment and promotes interaction through open layouts. In the end, the design should balance the modern requirements of the residents with the historical legacy of Ahmedabad's pols, creating a house that is a harmonious blend of practicality, style, and historical significance neighboring structures while contributing to the vibrancy of the pol community.
