The project explores an alternative approach to community inclusive, nature based redevelopment of the Chandola lake in contrast to the current exclusive lake redevelopment approaches that require labour and capital intensive maintenance routines, borrow water and eventually lead to gentrification. The approach demonstrates the redevelopment by associating cognitive and monetary value to water hoping to reinforce people-water relationships that will aid upkeep and maintenance of the lake.
